Hulu released its murder mystery comedy series, Only Murders In The Building, in August 2021. The show became the highest premiere day tune-in for any comedy series in Hulu’s history.
It introduced fans to Hollywood’s rising star Aaron Dominguez and featured Selena Gomez in her first ever regular role in series since her Disney days.
Dominguez plays the hoodie-wearing Oscar Torres, a childhood friend of true crime fan Mabel, played by Gomez, and the murdered victim, Tim Kono, portrayed by Julian Cihi.
As Hollywood’s new IT boy, fans could not help but wonder about Dominguez and is he had a girlfriend.
Who Is Aaron Dominguez?
Although Dominguez made his debut in tinsel town in 2021, the actor is no stranger to life in show business.
His parents met in theater school in Venezuela and immigrated to Miami in the early ‘90s. They were very much involved in the arts, from telenovelas and Spanish soap operas to Spanish theater.
Dominguez’s dad was a professional ballet and jazz dancer and even toured with Janet Jackson. Meanwhile, his mother was a singer-songwriter and actress.
As a kid, he watched his parents perform and soaked up their work ethic and passion. But despite growing up with artists in the family, he was unsure if pursuing acting full time was for him.
Growing up, he was privy to the financial inconsistencies artists experienced. “Sometimes we were doing well, and other times the lights were off, and the hot water wasn’t running,” said the actor.
And so, for the longest time, he worked all kinds of jobs, from fashion and logistics to construction, until one day, his father asked him an intriguing question.
“Do you want to be famous? Or do you want to work? Because if you want to be famous, just get naked and run across the street. Eventually, the cameras will show up. But if you want to work, trust me. I know how hard it is to make it in this industry.”
Not long after, he passed the audition for the Hulu series.
Does Aaron Dominguez Have a Girlfriend?
For his breakthrough role, Dominguez got to work with an all-star cast alongside Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

During an interview with Seventeen, the actor opened up about what it was like working with the Grammy-winning pop star.
He revealed that to translate the friendship of Oscar and his girlfriend, Mabel, on camera, he and Gomez started hanging out and getting to know one another off-screen.
The paparazzi often photographed the duo, which led to rumors that Gomez was Dominguez’s girlfriend.
But before the rumors could escalate further, Gomez shut it down, saying they were only working together.
“We had just started working together. I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!’ I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get, the less they’ll care. I’m grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now,” the Disney Channel alum told Los Angeles Times.
For now, there aren’t any reports on whether Dominguez has a girlfriend, so it looks like the actor is single.
