You are Responsible

Stop complaining about your present circumstances; your past actions brought you there. Stop complaining about a future you are crafting every minute of by the things you are now doing. Stop playing the victim of circumstance; you are the orchestrator of what circumstances you find yourself in.

You are responsible for the mess you are in right now, and if you would want to change your situation, guess what??? You can, by changing the things you have been doing that have been producing results you don’t like.

Your life will progress only in the direction of your daily routine. Wanting to be a big business man in the future or some Entrepreneur – whatever your plans may be, is a great thing to desire, but understand that desires not accompanied with the right type of hard work won’t amount to much. What you do after your desires have been well drafted is what your life will result to. What direction you take after your dreams and goals have been clearly and neatly written down is the direction your life will progress to.

What matters is not what you want, but what must be done to get that which you so desire. Most people get up early in the morning, pray vigorously about their goals and future and then stay at home doing nothing, expecting that someday, their effective prayers will bring about a testimony. Well guess what, it won’t. Don’t think that because you prayed about it and even sowed a seed about it, God will make it grow when you are not committed to it’s growth. God won’t bless anything you aren’t committed to. Yes, you were awarded a job miraculously, but that didn’t happen until you submitted a job application or went for an interview. Yes, someone was miraculously awarded a contract. But he had to apply for it. You have a part to play and until you do, don’t expect anything special.

Most of us today write down fancy goals – well they told us if they weren’t big, they weren’t good enough. So we reached for the sky. But after that, we kept them someplace safe and did nothing about them. Sometime in the future, we complain and blame others. We are the cause of our problems and if we want things to change, we must change our actions.

Ask yourself this question everyday;

What is required of me this day to make my goals a reality?

When you do get the answer for that, go out there and get it done. I am presently harwking, not because it makes me feel comfortable, but because it is what is required of me to meet a pre-determined goal and i know if i don’t start now, i may never atrain that goal.

It may not be a comfortable activity, and it doesn’t have to. You may not feel like doing it, but again, you don’t really need to feel like it before you do it. So long as it answers the above question, you just step out there and do it until you get reaults in accordance with your goals.
In the game of life, there is no room for complacency, laxity or procrastination.
Just remember that if your life doesn’t turn out the way you had hoped it would, it would be your fault.

I walk pass the streets of our communities regularly and I see old men and women selling sweets and biscuits just to survive. They live from hand to mouth today, probably because they were not informed while still youths. Their life now reflects their actions in the past. Their circumstances now are products of their past routines. And even if they blame someone else for it, it won’t change the fact that they are the ones out there on the streets.

Blame people all you want, but remember that in the end, You will be responsible for the situation you find yourself in, sometime in the future.

A man’s future is the product of his daily past routines and not his past wishes and dreams.”

What you “do” to get what you desire, is what matters.
