A lot has happened in the past few years for Dave Bautista, from achieving new career heights to finding a stable relationship with his girlfriend.
In April 2019, Bautista announced his retirement from WWE on Instagram, writing, “I am officially retired from sports entertainment, and I am grateful for every second of my amazing journey.”
After that, he transitioned from wrestling to acting like his peers, Dwayne ’The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena.
In 2019 alone, he starred in the movies Stuber and Escape Plan: Extraction and continued to make headway in the acting scene when he landed the life-changing role as Drax the Destroyer in Guardian of the Galaxy.
He also starred in Amazon’s comedy, My Spy, and then Army of the Dead and Dune, both of which were the two hottest motion pictures of 2021.
And while he continued making a name for himself in Hollywood, his personal life, too, had changed for the better.
Dave Bautista’s Mystery Girlfriend
During the two years, he was busy releasing film after film; he was also discreetly seeing someone, which he revealed during an interview with Men’s Health.
In October 2021, the outlet did a profile on the actor and discussed his successful acting career. While doing so, they revealed that the actor had a girlfriend but did not disclose the identity because Bautista refused to do so.
“For the past two years, [Bautista] has been seeing someone he declines to name, who just gets him, man. They met on a film, he says, and she understands the business and the limitations it brings to his personal life,” the outlet quoted.

This was all that was written about Bautista’s girlfriend, but if his following comment on women and relationships is an insight into his current relationship, Bautista is undoubtedly a changed man.
He noted he was never comfortable talking to women, but once his career took off, too many women were suddenly interested in him.
Additionally, he went from having no money to tons of it, which he was not ready for. “I wasn’t ready for that. I didn’t know how to deal with it. So I made all the bad cliché mistakes,” said the Army of the Dead star.
Dave Bautista’s Past Relationship
Speaking of mistakes, the actor admitted that he had some regrets regarding his past relationships.
Bautista was divorced thrice before he started dating his current girlfriend.
The actor was first married to Glenda Bautista in1990 and welcomed their first daughter, Keilani, that same year and then their second daughter, Athena, in 1992.
After eight years of marriage, Bautista and his first wife divorced in 1998, just as the former’s wrestling career took off. He moved on quickly from Glenda and married his second wife, Angies Bautista, the same year he and Glenda divorced.
The actor helped his second wife through her ovarian cancer, but their marriage broke down in 2006. For the next decade, he dated a bunch of women who also wrestled for WWF/WWE before settling down for the third time in 2015 with a professional pole dancer named Sarah Jade.
Unfortunately, this marriage also did not work out, and the former couple went their separate ways in 2019.
